Wireless Lappeenranta is a WLAN-access-network created by the Laboratory of Communications Engineering in Lappeenranta University of Technology.

In general questions please contact the WLPR.NET maintenance by email, if the FAQ does not give you the answer. If you have problems you can send the maintenance an error report. If you have problems connecting to the network, you can get answers from the network helpdesk during the helpdesk hours.

Join Wireless Lappeenranta

LUT students and staff can register as LUT-ISP users here and use their LUT login accounts for Internet access. Other users can access the Internet through WLPR-FREE ISP.

All you need is a laptop or a PDA, and a WLAN card. You can use the WLPR.NET inside the University, in the area of Sammonlahti, Lappeenranta Harbour, Oleksi and in the region of Kimpinen. For more details please look at the coverage area map. No registration is needed for using local services!
